Our organic gelatinised maca powder is made from a combination of yellow, red and black maca root.
Gelatinisation is an extrusion process that breaks down the starch molecules in the maca root, thus concentrating the active ingredients, promoting easier digestion and enhanced bioavailability.
It is heated under pressure to remove the starches, providing a higher concentration of nutritional content.
Before the starch is removed, our maca roots are meticulously harvested, dried, and milled at low temperatures to preserve the vital nutrients. Maca is a pure and potent super root with a pleasantly nutty and malty flavor. It makes it a delicious addition to smoothies, sweets, desserts, and anything that contains chocolate!
